Child trafficking: Saved by the New Law?
Thursday, 27 September 2007Fortunately, Indonesia now has a bill against human trafficking passed in early 2007 reflecting the government’s concern towards this issue. Not to be outdone, Malaysia, a country often accused of protecting traffickers (because currently Malaysia is the biggest destination country for Indonesian traffickers) also passed a similar bill this year.
Does this mean the end to trafficking in Indonesia? The issue is unfortunately not so simple. (selanjutnya…)
